The most effective way to grow your business as a new Jamberry consultant is to host parties. When done correctly, a successful party exposes you to a lot of potential customers and consultants in a short period of time – it is your best opportunity for meeting new people and scheduling additional parties. The products and opportunity will sell themselves if you have fun and focus on a few important steps. Here are five keys to hosting a successful Jamberry party:

- The Full Service Checkout
On the day of the party, arrive at the hostess’s home about half an hour before the party is scheduled to start to set up. As mentioned, your hostess is a great prospective team member! She already likes the products and supports this style of marketing. By arriving early, you’ll have time to chat about the opportunity and answer any questions the hostess may have.
Meet and Greet
Introduce yourself to the guests as they arrive. Ask several questions to find out more about them. Here are sample questions you can ask, depending on how quickly guests are arriving.
- How do you know _____ (hostess name)?
- Have you been to a Jamberry Nails home party before?
- Do you get your nails done on a regular basis?
Share with them your excitement about our nail wraps. Encourage them to pick out a sample while you wait to get started. This gets them around the table with other guests and helps build excitement for the product. Continue to mingle, making your way around the room. Guests enjoy having time to socialize and mingle – it’s an important part of having FUN at a Jamberry Nails party. When it’s time to start, let your hostess know you’re ready, and then ask everyone to gather together.
The Opening Talk
Your opening introduction is one of the most important things you will do at the party. This is your opportunity to get the guests excited right from the start so they will stay engaged throughout the presentation. If you can’t get guests engaged within the first few minutes, it is likely they will lose interest and mentally “check out” from the entire party. So it is important to make a good first impression. The script below may be helpful as you prepare for your next party.
“Hello, Ladies. My name is ____. I’m your Jamberry Nails Consultant for the evening. Tonight you’re in for a real treat. We’re going to help you save time, save money and look fabulous. And who doesn’t want that? Let’s get to know each other. We’re going to go around the room—please introduce yourself and tell how you know the hostess. (HOSTESS), when it’s your turn, tell us how you found out about Jamberry Nails.
Asking how the guests know your hostess can help you tailor some of your remarks. For example, if they go to the gym together, you can talk about how chip resistant the nails are. If they all have young children, you can talk about how hosting a Jamberry Nails party is a great Mom’s Night Out.
Ladies, you sound like a fun group. One of the things I love about Jamberry Nails is that it’s so much fun! (Add a sentence or two about why you joined the company.) We all love our nails to look great, but getting our nails looking nice can be expensive. That’s exactly what the creators of our company discovered. After you have asked some questions and you feel that the guests are engaged, continue to get them excited. Consider the following lines:

Tonight you’ll get a chance to try a couple of looks on your nails, or your toe nails if you want, and you’ll see how easy it is to have beautiful nails without spending a fortune. Engage the audience by asking questions and sharing your favorite nail designs. Have your guests select a design and tell them you are going to show them how easy it is to apply the nail wraps. You then want to go through the application demonstration by having guests apply their own nail wraps.
- Clean unpolished nails with alcohol wipe and push back the cuticles.
- Match nail (finger or toe) to the nail wrap that best fits.
- Peel off nail wrap and warm with a mini heater or blow-dryer for 3 to 5 seconds or until soft and flexible.
- When warm, press the wrap onto the nail. Apply firm pressure around edges to adhere the wrap to the nail. Use rubber cuticle pusher to seal the wrap around the base of the cuticle.
- Trim the top with scissors and file off remaining wrap using a downward motion to remove excess.
- Apply heat and pressure to the wrap again until it is bonded to the nail.

Quick Removal Process:
Heat the wraps with a blow dryer for 15 seconds. Then break the seal by getting under the edge of the wrap with your opposite thumbnail. Slowly peel the wrap from side to side. If the nail wraps are not peeling easily or the adhesive is still bonded to the nail bed then, follow the Gentle Removal Process.
Gentle Removal Process:
Soak the nail wraps in nail polish remover for 20 to 30 seconds and gently rub them off. Soaking will break down the adhesive bond and allow them to easily slide off the nail bed.
Once you have demonstrated the removal process, pass out the catalog and look book for your guests to review. While they are looking at the options available to them, it is great time to introduce them to the Application Kit. You could say something like:

As you finish the presentation, it is important to let your guests know that you will be available after the party to answer any questions they may have. Now that they have purchase options, they may be overwhelmed and may need some encouragement. Let people know that you will also be available during the week if they want to call you with questions. Encourage your guests to take out their cell phones and add you to their contact list.
